The Vidyalaya had the privilege of hosting a captivating cultural event in collaboration with SPIC MACAY, featuring the mesmerizing art form of Gotipua (a traditional dance form in the state of Odisha.)
The event transported students on a journey through the rich tapestry of Indian heritage, showcasing the beauty and grace of this traditional performing art. Renowned artists graced the school auditorium, showcasing the intricate movements and grace. Students were enthralled by the graceful dance movements, rhythmic footwork, and soulful music, which brought ancient tales to life on stage.
The event left all the spectators spell bound; plunged into the ocean of Indian Performing Arts. The Artists were honoured with a "Ponnada " after the performance.
As Thomas Merton has rightly quoted once, this performance "enabled us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time"
