CVP (Chinmaya Vision Programme) The Chinmaya vision program is what makes the Chinmaya Education Institutions 'Schools with a difference'. It concretizes Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda's vision of education. "yathaa drishti tatha srishti" As the vision so the world appears to us. Chinmaya Vision Program (CVP) was born to enshrine the philosophy of education developed by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chimayananda in the heart of every growing child to bring out the best in him or her. The child is the focal point of this program. The program also embraces the school management, teachers and parents. Through them, the light of this vision spreads to the society, country, and the world at large. |
The Chinmaya Vision Program can be identified under 4 heads:
It aims at the overall enfoldment and gentle blossoming of the child at the physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual levels of his / her personality.
Physical Development | Mental Development |
Intellectual Development | Spiritual Development |
Indian Culture | Patriotism |
Courage is graceful and dignified. I is the very essence of God in man, Surcharge yourself with His Grace. Be active and intellectually adventurous boys and girls by participating in all the programs of the Vidyalayaâ€. Love! Love! Love! H.H. Swami Chinmayananda | Universal Outlook refers to an appreciation, sensitivity and commitment to universal issues. After years of mindless pillage of nature, the world needs to come back to a universal holistic view of life. A universal outlook helps the child view himself/herself as a responsible citizen of the world (including world issues), live in harmony with creation (environment education and the synthesis between science and religion) as well as become aware of being an intrinsic part of the macrocosm. The Chinmaya Vidyalayas are truly "schools with a difference." ‘Keep smiling’ is our Vidyalaya’s Motto. We believe that our children should be moulded by this motto. We hope they will lead a balanced life under all circumstances. Whether in joy or sorrow, in success or failure, in honor or dishonor, in prosperity or adversity, their calmness of mind should express itself in an eternal smile. |
