Sanskrit day -22nd August
Sanskrit, the language of Vedas, is one of the oldest languages of the world, knowledge of which opens the door of wisdom.
Sanskrit day was celebrated to promote, revive and to know more about the ancient language of India. Anchoring, songs, speech, dance and fancy dress were presented in Sanskrit by the students of classes 1 to 12. The guest of the day Ms Rama, Sanskrit Teacher, Nenmara, GHSS, urged students to respect this great language of India and retain the legacy of it.
