“Mathrupooja” is performed as a mark of reverence to their sacrifice, instill moral values in the minds of children and strengthen the bond of love and respect between mothers and children.
Guided by H H Swami Asheshananda Sarawathi , Students performed the Mathru Pooja by offering flowers and chanting the slokas. As a part of the ceremony the children They offered their love and respect to mothers and got blessings with them. They also performed Aarathi.
The program ended with the chanting of the Shanti Mantra. Everybody offered flowers at the Guru Paduka and received prasad from H H Asheshananda Sarawathi and took his blessings.
